Llamau first embarked on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership project with the Housing Department at the University of Wales Institute Cardiff. The aim of the project is to increase understanding of the small number of service users who don’t have a ‘positive’ outcome from Llamau’s services.
This involves exploring Llamau’s Monitoring and Evaluation systems in order to understand how such outcomes are measured. The data collected by Llamau will be analysed to identify any trends that may be present amongst the young people who don’t have a positive outcome.
Interviews have also taken place with some of these young people that have now left Llamau’s services. These in-depth interviews have given past service users the opportunity to reflect on their experience of support and feedback to the organisation. The findings of these interviews are now being taken forward through a project involving past service users sharing their experiences of support with current individuals involved with Llamau.
