Llamau wishes to appoint a Tutor to work within our Learning 4 Life Project. Learning 4 Life is a bespoke, flexible training provision, working with young people aged 16-24, Not in Education, Employment or Training, with the aim of moving learners on to Work Based Learning provision, Further Education or Employment.
We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic educator with a high regard for young people who are not engaging in education, employment and training. The ideal candidate will have a highly personalized approach to learners. They will have drive, vision and enthusiasm with a creative and imaginative approach to delivering learning opportunities.

Salary: £20,858 (pro rata) per annum
17.5 hours per week to be worked flexibly to support the needs of service users, though core hours are expected to be Monday- Friday 9:30am- 5pm with flexibility (actual hours to be negotiated), being available to go out to support a young person outside these hours where required eg evening and weekend appointments.
To work with children and young people who go missing or run away from home, or care, in Gwent.
Providing targeted one-to-one support and helping children and young people to be safe from harm, stop going missing, reduce risky behaviours and achieve positive outcomes.
To build a positive relationship with the child or young person in order to establish the reasons for them going missing.
To advocate for the child / young person, & share this information with the Gwent multi-agency Missing Children project in order to safeguard the child and reduce the frequency of running away.
A full clean driving licence and use of own vehicle is essential for this role.

Salary: £9226.50 per annum
The Support Assistant's role will be to ensure the safe running of a project, recording and reporting incidents that arise in accordance with Llamau’s procedures, and working to support the implementation of Individual Support Plans, and safeguard young people at all times.
You will be required to work 1 x night shift (4.45pm - 9.45am with "sleep in" hours, but available to deal with urgent issues around support and security) and 1 day shift of 7 hours each per week.
