    Support Assistant required for Part time hours in Merthyr Young Peoples Services

    Salary: £18,453 per annum pro rata (£9226.50)

    We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team of Llamau colleagues who believe in our young people and will engage and support them to achieve their potential and beyond.

    Our Merthyr project  is a 7 unit 24 hour supported accomodation project for young people aged 16-21 years old.

    The Support Assistant role involves ensuring the safe running and maintenance of a project, recording and reporting incidents that arise in accordance with Llamau’s procedures, service user participation and working alongside support workers to support the implementation of Individual Support Plans at all times.


    Part time consisting of Sunday 1 x night shift (4.45pm – 9.45am with ‘sleep in’ hours, but available to deal with urgent issues around support and security during the night) and Tuesday 1 x daytime shift1 of 7 hours each per week.

    Flexibility is required for attendance at e.g. Team Meetings / Full Team Meetings / Support & supervisions etc.

    SW06 Support Worker Monmouthshire

    £20,858.00 per annum Permanent Position

    Full time Monday to Friday - 35 hours per week plus on call one week in nine.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established Floating Support team servicing our clients in the Monmouthshire area. The post, will provide a high level of housing related support to people living in their own homes. You will be required to help people build on their strengths and support them to achieve their goals to maintain their independent living skills in partnership with colleagues and other agencies. You will need to be confident enough to deliver a high quality service, while ensuring safety and wellbeing is at the forefront of service delivery.

    A driving licence is a necessity due to the area you would be covering around Monmouthshire.
