We have a number of volunteering opportunities within Llamau:

Our new befriending service, needs volunteers to complement our support services, helping women
and families settle into Refuge projects or practically in their new home, assisting them with various
household tasks, sharing your knowledge and experience, supporting them emotionally by listening to
their issues and concerns.

The time commitment is flexible but ideally volunteers will be available to visit women and families in refuge or their own home for up to 3 hours each week.

We need people to undertake a number of fundraising positions to raise awareness of our work across Wales, which includes contacting local businesses and organisations, and then distributing Llamau collection boxes to them, distributing publicity materials and leaflets and also volunteering at our events.

We have a range of office administration that would be perfect for a volunteer. At some of our smaller offices, there are reception duties, greeting service users, answering the telephone and taking messages. Computer work is likely to be involved, typing letters, preparing information, photocopying and dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
